Approach and anchoring
Freshwater lake, no tide. Approach from the main body of Lake Annecy, entrance between two short jetties. Speed limit 5 knots within 300 m of the shore under Haute-Savoie prefectural regulation.
Practical
Berths mostly allocated to local residents, very limited visitor capacity. Water at pontoons. Village shops and bus line 62 to Annecy within 200 m. Swimming beach adjacent to the harbour.
Ashore
Lakeside path to Menthon-Saint-Bernard and its medieval castle 3 km south. Trail up to the Mont Veyrier ridge at 1291 m, accessed from the village. Annecy old town reachable by lake shuttle in season.
