Approach and anchoring
Reached through Woodmere Bay from East Rockaway Inlet. The deep-water marina takes both sail and power craft, but the surrounding bay is shallow in places, so time the approach with the tide.
Practical
A floating-dock marina of about 70 berths with shore power and water, taking sail and power boats to roughly 60 feet. The clubhouse has a banquet hall, showers and a heated outdoor pool open daily between late May and early September.
