Most boats anchor behind the sandy arm of Napatree Point, on a sand bottom with good holding and roughly 7 feet at mean low water. Protection from N, NE and E winds. Watch Hill Yacht Club lies 0.2 miles NE, with a full-service yard and fuel dock on the Pawcatuck River 1.3 miles NE.
