Approach and anchoring
Enter from the right bank of the Saône near PK 108, then follow the Pont-de-Vaux canal eastward. Maximum draught 1,7 m. No lock on the canal itself, but passage is limited by the fixed bridges on the route. Approach in daylight given the lack of lit buoyage on the canal.

Pontoon with mooring along the quay. Water and electricity at the halt. Fuel and full services available at the main Pont-de-Vaux basin 1,6 NM to the south-east. Shops in the village of Pont-de-Vaux.
Ashore
Musée Chintreuil in Pont-de-Vaux at 3 km, dedicated to the 19th century landscape painter born in the town. Marché on Wednesday morning on the place Michel Poisat. Greenway along the former railway line towards Saint-Trivier-de-Courtes.
