Approach and anchoring
The point lies on the eastern side of the upper bay, clear of the main shipping channel. The bottom is mud with good holding. The anchorage is sheltered from north-west, west and south-west, and open to the east.
Practical
No facilities at the point. Two Rivers Yacht Basin and Safe Harbor Bohemia Vista both lie about 2.4 to 2.5 miles east, up the Bohemia River, for berths, fuel and services.
