Approach and anchoring
Reached via the East Harbor channel off Lake Erie, short run from the main channel to West Harbor. Open late April to 31 October. Bass Haven Marina lies 0.4 nm to the west and Marine City Marina 0.4 nm to the east.
Practical
Transient and seasonal berths, launch ramp and hoist, marine store with bait and tackle, fuel berth with petrol and diesel. Walk-on walleye charters run twice daily in summer aboard a four-vessel fleet skippered by USCG-licensed captains.
Ashore
Marblehead Lighthouse stands 5 km east, the oldest lighthouse in continuous operation on the Great Lakes since 1822. East Harbor State Park covers 1,800 acres across the harbour with swimming beaches and trails. Cedar Point amusement park sits 25 km east by road.
