Approach and anchoring

Reached from the Gulf through Wiggins Pass, then up the Cocohatchee River. The pass carries shoaling sand and is best suited to boats drawing under four feet; time the approach near high water on the larger tides. The river run from the inlet takes ten to fifteen minutes at idle speed.

Practical

Club marina with wet berths reserved for members. Shore power and water at the pontoons. Pool, tiki bar, tennis courts and a fitness room ashore. Island Marina lies a short distance west, with Pelican Isle Yacht Club just beyond.
