Approach and anchoring
Lake Whatcom is a freshwater lake with no marine access: trailer launches only. The marina is at 20 Marina Drive, in the Sudden Valley HOA. Whatcom County boat inspections for invasive species are required before launching on the lake.
Practical
88 wet berths and around 165 dry-storage spaces. Marina store with petrol, diesel, ice, snacks, drinks and a wide range of marine parts including batteries, starters and alternators. Member or resident access only. Phone 360-734-6430.
Ashore
Off-leash dog park directly next to the marina. Sudden Valley community trails and golf course on the same development. Lake Whatcom shoreline is largely undeveloped and forested.
