Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached from Lake Erie off Route 5, at the end of Sturgeon Point Road. The boating season runs from 15 May to 15 October depending on conditions, and silting at the entrance has affected access in some years.
Practical
About 217 wet berths, dry storage, four launch ramps and a shop selling ice and bait. Restrooms, a snack bar and 24-hour security during the season.
Ashore
A pedestrian pier and picnic areas adjoin the marina. The Sturgeon Point nature trail is an easy 0.8-mile loop, and the 2.3-mile Shoreline Trail links the point to Bennett Beach and Wendt Beach county parks.
