Approach and anchoring
Reached through the breachway at Galilee, then up the buoyed channel of Point Judith Pond. The pond is shallow off-channel, so keep to the marks. Block Island lies about 11 miles offshore.
Practical
There is a fuel berth with diesel and petrol, water, shore power, heads and showers, hauling and winter storage. A coffee shop and marine store are on site. Route 1 runs just behind the marina.
History
The site was worked from the 1800s as the Roses and Priest boatyards, later bought by Louis Hanson as Hanson's boatyard. It has run as Stone Cove Marina since 1973.
