Small public harbour at Langley on the east side of Whidbey Island, on Saratoga Passage in Puget Sound.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from Saratoga Passage. The harbour is protected by a floating breakwater on the north and east side. Hail the harbourmaster on VHF 66A before entering. Visitor floats lie inside the breakwater.
Practical
Run by the Port of South Whidbey. 41 berths plus around 100 metres of side-tie on the linear dock, vessels up to about 18 metres. Fresh water, shore power, showers, laundry, pump-out and a fuel berth with petrol and diesel. Kayak hire in summer.
Ashore
First Street shops, cafes and the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts are a short walk up Wharf Street, around 200 metres from the dock. Bayview Farm and Garden at 4 km. Double Bluff beach at 12 km by car for long sand walks.
