Approach and anchoring
Reached through the Hudson channel off the Gulf. The marina takes vessels up to 40 feet, with about 10 feet of dockside depth at the floating docks.
Practical
25 berths, two of them for visitors. Fuel, bait and ice on site, plus pump-out, a ship store and minor repairs. Boats, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for hire. Dry-rack storage from $8 per foot and wet berths from $9 per foot, plus tax.
Ashore
Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park, the public Hudson Beach, adjoins the marina with a swimming beach and picnic shelters. Sam's Beach Bar, family-run since 1981, is a short walk away.
