Guide

Approach and anchoring

The marina lies on the St. Lucie River within reach of the St. Lucie Inlet and the Atlantic. VHF 16. Approach depth is about 8 feet, dockside about 5.5 feet. The office runs 0800 to 1700, the fuel dock 0800 to 1600.

Practical

300 berths on fixed and floating pontoons, taking vessels up to 110 feet. The fuel dock supplies diesel and petrol, with a pump-out station. On site there is a swimming pool, a fitness room, a laundry, showers and a restaurant.

Ashore

Walkable downtown Stuart, with its pedestrian streets, shops and restaurants, lies close to the marina. The Riverwalk, a waterfront path linking the parks and the historic core, hosts the free Sunday concert series Rock'n Riverwalk.

History

The marina was first built in the early 1960s as Harborage Marina. It was bought and renamed Safe Harbor Harborage Yacht Club in 1997.
