Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Delaware River up the buoyed Darby Creek. The creek is tidal and shoal in stretches, best entered on a rising tide. Two boat clubs, the Corinthian Yacht Club and the West End Boat Club, lie within a mile.
Practical
The marina has 97 slips with power and water, dry storage, a double public launching ramp and a public fishing pier. The office is on 610 521-2800. Daily ramp passes cost 15 dollars for powerboats and 8 dollars for canoes and kayaks.
Ashore
The marina borders the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, the largest remaining freshwater tidal marsh in Pennsylvania, with marked walking trails along Darby Creek from the refuge visitor centre.
