Guide
Approach and anchoring
The Delaware River runs a strong tidal stream here, so time the passage for fair tide. Holding is in mud. The anchorage is partly screened by Tinicum Island. Ridley Township Municipal Marina lies 0.1 mile to the north-east; Corinthian Yacht Club is 0.7 mile to the south-east.
Practical
This is a working river with commercial shipping traffic, so anchor clear of the dredged channel and show an anchor light. The two clubs and marina close by offer the nearest landing for water and provisions.
