Working seafood dock and fuel stop on the Intracoastal Waterway at Hobucken, North Carolina, just south of the Hobucken high-rise bridge near ICW marker 21.

Approach and anchoring
Position on the ICW between the Bay River and the Pamlico River cuts, north side of the Hobucken Bridge. Channel depth around 12 ft, 6 ft at the docks. US Coast Guard Station Hobucken lies immediately to the north.
Practical
Two docks with diesel and ethanol-free petrol, 30 amp shore power on the south dock, 110 V on the north dock, ice and basic heads. Fresh local catch sold from the dock: shrimp, scallops, crab and fish.
Ashore
Hobucken is a small fishing community of fewer than 200 inhabitants. No grocery or restaurant within walking distance. Most cruisers use the stop for fuel, ice and fresh seafood while transiting the ICW.
