Approach and anchoring
Enter Port Sanilac harbour through the breakwall gap. The municipal harbour lies on the south side, Port Sanilac Marina on the north side. White brick Port Sanilac Lighthouse, in service since 1886, stands above the harbour as a daymark.
Practical
155 berths, vessels up to 60 ft. Fuel berth, pump-out, boat ramp, indoor heated and outdoor storage, on-site service department with certified mechanics. Stays from one day to one season.
Ashore
Sanilac County Historic Village and Museum at 800 m, a 10-acre site with seventeen restored buildings including the Loop-Harrison Mansion and a marine shipwreck collection. Lighthouse tours Fridays 12:00 to 16:00 in summer, $10.
