Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east, entrance between two breakwaters with red and green lights at the heads. Approach and dockside depth 5 ft, so deep-keeled yachts should check the gauge before entering. Reservations through the Michigan DNR system or by phone.
Practical
108 berths on a mix of fixed and floating pontoons, vessels up to 100 ft. 30 and 50A shore power, fresh water, petrol and diesel at the fuel berth, pump-out, fish cleaning station, public slipway, modern heads, showers and laundry. Phased works on slips and shoreside facilities scheduled across 2026 and 2027.
Ashore
Village centre of Lexington a five-minute walk from the harbour, with grocery, laundromat, theatre and gift shops. Sandy public beach immediately north of the breakwater. Lexington was the first Euro-American settlement on the Lake Huron shore north of Port Huron, organised as a township in 1837.
