Access by inland waterway only, from the Canal entre Champagne et Bourgogne. Max draught 1.7 m. Locks operated by VNF, check seasonal opening hours. Port is roughly 3 km downhill from the walled town itself.

12 berths. Water and electricity on the pontoon. Town of Langres on the plateau above, shuttle or taxi for the climb to the ramparts.

Walled town of Langres with 3.5 km of ramparts and 12 towers, one of the 50 Villes d'Art et d'Histoire. Birthplace of Denis Diderot, Maison des Lumières Denis Diderot museum in town. Source of the Marne river at the Marne springs in the nearby forest at about 10 km.
