Approach and anchoring
Approach from the lake into the basin at the mouth of the Thiou. Speed limited to 5 knots within 300 m of shore across the lake. No tidal constraints. Harbour office on VHF 9.

204 berths managed by the Compagnie des Bateaux du Lac d'Annecy. Water and electricity on pontoons. Sanitary block with showers. Town centre shops, supermarkets and train station within 500 m.
Ashore
Jardins de l'Europe and Pont des Amours at 150 m, leading to the Pâquier lawn. Old town with Palais de l'Isle on the Thiou at 300 m. Lake cycle path runs 42 km around Lake Annecy from the port.
History
Annecy developed around the Thiou outflow from the 12th century. The Palais de l'Isle dating from around 1132 served as prison and courthouse and is now a museum of local history.
