Approach and anchoring
Entered from the Rhône navigation channel at PK 156. Max draught 1.2 m. Watch the downstream current, stronger during release from upstream dams. Approach pontoon on the south side of the basin.
Practical
60 berths on pontoons, water and electricity on the quay. Nearest fuel at Le Pouzin 6.2 NM to the N. Viviers lies 10.6 NM to the S with a larger river port.
Ashore
Medieval village of Cruas 1 km inland with the 11th century Romanesque abbey church of Sainte-Marie, listed monument historique. The Cruas nuclear power station, recognisable by its mural fresco, stands on the riverbank just downstream.
