Approach from the west, clear water. Bottom is sand, holding generally good. Sheltered from N, NE, E and SE winds, fully open to the west and to libeccio swell. No infrastructure, forain anchoring only.
Practical
No services. Porto-Ota 2.6 NM SE for small harbour facilities and village amenities. Port de Girolata 3.5 NM NW, reachable only by sea or footpath, basic services.
Ashore
Coastal footpath linking Girolata and the Scandola nature reserve passes nearby, about 3.5 NM NW. The UNESCO-listed Golfe de Porto, including the Calanche de Piana cliffs, lies just south of the anchorage.
