Approach and anchoring
Reached from the bay behind the barrier island. Bay depths are modest and tidal range runs around 1.2 metres, so a deep-draught yacht should plan arrival near high water.
Practical
More than 200 berths taking boats of most sizes. Members have a clubhouse, pool and a private beach. As a private club, transient berths are not guaranteed, so call ahead.
Ashore
The club runs an eight-week summer junior sailing programme for ages 8 to 18. Ocean City's beach, boardwalk and shops are a short walk across the island.
