Approach and anchoring
Floating pontoons by Bellingham Marine in water depths of 20 to 40ft, taking vessels up to 165ft LOA. The marina works VHF 74. Direct access to the Atlantic and the ICW from a position close to the river entrance.
Practical
Fuel berth with diesel and non-ethanol petrol, after-hours fuelling available, with volume discounts above 1,000 gallons. Ten slips, six of them for visitors, plus two dry storage buildings for around 210 boats up to 30ft. Charted maximum draught of 6m.
Ashore
The fishing village of Mayport, with shrimp boats and seafood restaurants, sits beside the marina. The St Johns River ferry crosses to the south bank from Mayport village. Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, with Atlantic beach and trails, lies a short distance south.
