Guide
Approach and anchoring
From Lake Michigan, enter past the North Pierhead lighthouse, which shows a group occulting white light visible 12 nautical miles in clear weather, then follow the channel. The marina lies along the channel and is sheltered from open-water swell.
Practical
Transient and seasonal berths for boats up to about 60 feet, with 30 and 50 amp shore power and water at the berth. Petrol and diesel, pump-out and ice. Restrooms, showers, laundry and a boaters' lounge with WiFi. Fish cleaning station and a boater lift for reduced-mobility crews.
Ashore
The marina adjoins the historic downtown district, with shops and eating places within walking distance. The Riverwalk path runs from here along the channel to First Street Beach on Lake Michigan.
