- Type
- Harbour
Year-round marina on Lake Erie at Erie, Michigan, right on the Michigan and Ohio state line northeast of Toledo.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the open lake into the channels, with about 6 ft on the approach and 8 ft alongside. Every berth is on a floating pontoon, so the docks rise and fall with Lake Erie's changing water level. The marina stays open through the winter.
Practical
Around 600 berths, with roughly 10 set aside for visitors. Fuel berth on site, city water and shore power, a 25-ton hoist and on-site winter storage. There is a clubhouse and a swimming pool. Members park on the grass next to their boat.
