JDF Marina
- Type
- Harbour
Small marina of 35 wet slips on Grand Lagoon at Panama City Beach, Florida, set up for small to large craft.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached from St. Andrew Bay through Grand Lagoon, with the Gulf a short run away via St. Andrews Pass. The pass is the channel between St. Andrews State Park and Shell Island, so plan the run for daylight and watch for charter traffic.
Practical
35 wet berths and a fuel dock. The marina also runs covered boat, trailer and RV storage, and rents pontoons and waverunners. Fishing charters operate from the same docks.
Ashore
Shell Island, a 7 mile undeveloped barrier island, lies across the pass and is a common dinghy or charter run. St. Andrews State Park covers 1,200 acres of beach and pine hammock on the bay side.
