Guide

Approach and anchoring

Fisherman Bay opens off San Juan Channel on the west side of Lopez. The entrance channel is shallow and marked, with restricted draught at low water. Time arrival close to high water for vessels drawing more than 1.5 metres.

Practical

Berths in Fisherman Bay, 22 tonne travel lift, full repair shop, chandlery, factory service for Volvo-Penta, Yamaha and MerCruiser. Brokerage and Ocean Sport and Pursuit dealership on site. No fuel berth at the marina itself.

Ashore

Lopez Village sits 1.5 km north on foot, with grocery, bakery and restaurants. Lopez Island Vineyards lies 4 km north on Fisherman Bay Road. The island is flat and a popular cycling destination, with bike hire in the village.
