Approach and anchoring
A sand-bottom shoreline berth on the reservoir, sheltered from all directions by the surrounding canyon walls. Holding is by burying anchors in the sand or tying off to natural features. Drilling pin anchors into the sandstone is prohibited by the National Park Service. Park houseboats at least 100 ft apart to limit carbon monoxide build-up.
