Approach and anchoring

Canal du Loing, Freycinet gauge, 50 km long with 19 locks between Saint-Mammès on the Seine and the junction with the Canal de Briare. Mooring on 3 bollards along the quay.

Practical

Water, electricity and picnic tables on the quay. The halt also accepts motorhomes. Village centre of Souppes within walking distance for basic shops and the SNCF station on the Paris Bercy to Montargis line.

Ashore

Towpath of the Canal du Loing for walking and cycling both directions. Leisure centre on a nearby lake with swimming, pedal boats and canoeing. Banks of the Loing river a few minutes on foot from the halt.
