Approach and anchoring

Reached from the Gulf of Mexico by the marked Suwannee River channel, with no fixed bridges. Approach depth around 10 metres of water on the chart datum reads about 10 feet, dockside about 6 feet at low water. Floating docks line a 1,000-foot bulkhead.

Practical

Around 200 berths with 10 set aside for visitors, vessels handled up to 70 feet. Shore power and fresh water at the pontoons. Ships store with groceries, beer and wine, ice and frozen bait. Restaurant on site. Fuel berth and boat repairs available. Harbour office on 352 542-7349.
