Approach and anchoring

Approach from the east out of the Chesapeake, picking up flashing green buoy 1 then heading for flashing greens 3 and 5 and flashing red 6 before turning into the creek. Hold the marked channel; depths shoal towards the edges.

Practical

Mud bottom. Sheltered from north-west through south-east winds, open to the south-west. Bowleys Marina lies 0.3 nm to the south-east with transient berths, petrol, diesel and a haul-out lift; Bowley's Point Yacht Basin is a similar distance south.
