Approach and anchoring
Lies on the north shore at the mouth of Middle River, just past the number 6 day marker. The point location gives a direct run out to the Chesapeake Bay.
Practical
Around 500 berths for sale or lease, overall length up to 75 ft, with new 28 ft floating slips added in 2023. Floating fuel berth with high-flow diesel and 89-octane petrol, pump-out at the fuel berth and at-slip, plus a DIY boatyard. Heads, showers and laundry.
Ashore
On site there is a swimming pool with lifeguards, a pirate-ship playground, a volleyball court, grills and waterfront fire pits, and a clubhouse bar open Friday and Saturday nights.
History
The marina occupies the former Bowleys Plantation, first settled by Daniel Bowley, a Baltimore sea captain and merchant. The 1887 manor house still stands on the grounds.
