Approach and anchoring

Entered from Absecon Inlet, which gives direct access from the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The harbour is well sheltered with little current and no wakes. Atlantic City lies about 44 statute miles up the coast from Cape May.

Practical

630 floating berths taking vessels up to 300 ft, including around 150 transient berths. Connections for fresh water, shore power up to 100 amp, cable and telephone. The fuel berth runs 24-hour self service for diesel and petrol with high-speed pumps, plus a pump-out. Heads, showers and laundry for registered guests.

History

A public facility of the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry, named after state senator Frank S Farley and operated under contract by the Golden Nugget.
