Approach and anchoring

Entered from Lake Michigan through the Holland Harbour channel, between two long piers marked by the Holland Harbor Light known as Big Red. Keep to the right on entering Lake Macatawa. Berths take any draught.

Practical

330 berths for vessels up to 135 feet, with transient dockage and winter storage. A 168 foot double-sided fuel berth supplies petrol and diesel plus ice. Boatyard with 35 and 75 ton travel lifts, full marine service department, showers, laundry and pump-out. Pool, playground and picnic area on site.

History

The yard opened in 1901 as Jesiek Brothers Shipyard and has served Lake Michigan boaters for more than a century. It received the inaugural Marina of the Year award from Marina Dock Age magazine.
