Approach and anchoring

Enter from Lake Michigan through the Holland Harbor channel past Big Red lighthouse, then run east into Lake Macatawa. Fixed docks with roughly 12ft in the approach and 10ft alongside. The marina sits at 1800 Ottawa Beach Road, near the head of Big Bay.

Practical

About 187 berths with a handful kept for transients, boats up to 60ft. Fuel berth with petrol and diesel, pump-out, fresh water and shore power. Heads and private showers, 24-hour security, and a boatyard with indoor and outdoor storage.

Ashore

Holland State Park and the Lake Michigan beach are around 2km west by Ottawa Beach Road. A small grocery and restaurants sit near Ottawa Beach. Downtown Holland, with its shops and Tulip Time festival in May, is roughly 9km by road.
