Approach and anchoring
Waterway managed by the Mayenne département. Lock chamber around 30 m by 5 m, standard Freycinet gauge. Operated on demand during official opening hours between April and October. Do not moor in the approach channels, only on the upstream or downstream waiting pontoons.
Practical
Drinking water tap on the service quay. No fuel, no chandlery. Nearest halte with proper facilities is Entrammes, 2.8 nautical miles upstream.
Ashore
Walking path along the right bank towards Entrammes village, around 4 km. Thermal baths of Entrammes at 4 km. Cîteaux abbey of Port-du-Salut, home of the original Port Salut cheese, at 3 km.
