Private members' yacht club on the east side of Bridgeport Harbour, on Long Island Sound in Connecticut. Around 200 berths on floating pontoons.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter Bridgeport Harbour from the lighted whistle buoy BH and follow the dredged channel between the two converging breakwaters past Bridgeport Harbor Light. The east branch leads towards Johnsons River and the club's pontoons. Approach and dockside depth about 3 metres.
Practical
Floating pontoons take boats up to roughly 12 metres. Shore power, heads, showers and ice. Member-owned club, so visiting berths are limited and arranged in advance.
History
The club was started in 1911 and formally organised in May 1912, making it one of the older boating clubs on the Bridgeport waterfront.
