Approach and anchoring

From the Chesapeake Bay, enter the Magothy River south of Bodkin Point and follow the channel to Cypress Creek, just upriver from Henderson Point. A 6-knot speed limit applies in the creek. Berths take a draught of up to 8 feet at mean low water.

Practical

Family-run for more than 50 years. The yard runs a 50-ton travel lift and a 15-ton hydraulic crane, the largest lift on the Magothy. It handles full repairs, rebuilds and custom boatbuilding, with a 13,500 square foot climate-controlled shop. Phone 410 647-7940.
