Approach and anchoring

North basin of the lake at Mayville. Inland lake at 1,308 feet elevation, no tide. 5 mph no-wake limit within 200 feet of docks, moored boats and fixed marks. Night-time speed capped at 20 mph from sunset to sunrise.

Practical

Dockage, indoor and outdoor storage, year-round service shop. Fuel berth with non-ethanol petrol. Largest hire fleet in Western New York: powerboats, pontoons, kayaks and fishing boats; advance booking only, no walk-ins. Open 8 am to 8 pm seven days a week in season.

Ashore

Mayville village shops within walking distance. Webb's Year-Round Resort and the Sea Lion replica tall ship on the adjacent waterfront. Chautauqua Institution grounds about 3 miles south by water for summer lectures and concerts.
