Large public marina at Charleston on Coos Bay, operated by the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay, the main plaisance and commercial fishing base on the south Oregon coast.

Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Pacific via the Coos Bay bar, marked by north and south jetties. The bar is one of the busier crossings on the Oregon coast and is regulated by USCG with bar-restriction lights at Charleston and Empire ramps tuned to 1610 AM. Inside the bay, follow the dredged channel to the Charleston basin on the south shore.
Practical
Over 400 berths, six-lane launch ramp, fuel berth with diesel and petrol, propane, pump-out, ice plant. Heads, showers, laundry, chandlery, bait and tackle on site. Office open Monday to Friday 0830 to 1630, +1 541-888-2548. RV park with around 100 pitches ashore.
Ashore
Charleston village restaurants and seafood markets within 400 m. Sunset Bay, Shore Acres and Cape Arago State Parks along the coast within 6 km south. Oregon Institute of Marine Biology campus adjacent.
