Approach and anchoring
Same approach as MacDonald's Resort 0.3 nautical miles to the south: reach Scenic Bay from the open lake via the channel south of Cape Horn. Bay sheltered from southerlies. No tide; lake level set by the Albeni Falls Dam.
Practical
Over 100 slips with full-service fuel berth. Boat rentals, guided tours and fishing charters from the docks. Lakeside dining on site. Cabins, suites and waterfront cottages at the adjacent Bitter End Resort.
Ashore
Village of Bayview with shops and restaurants, within walking distance. Farragut State Park, with hiking trails on the former WWII naval training site, at 3 km.
