Approach and anchoring
Reached across the open water of Kentucky Lake, a wide impounded reservoir on the Tennessee River. Green Turtle Bay lies about 6.7 nautical miles to the north. The resort covers 52 acres of wooded shoreline.
Practical
Marina with 122 covered and open berths with shore power, a boat launch and trailer parking. Fuel station with non-ethanol petrol and marine diesel, ValvTect fuels. Fish-cleaning station, live bait and tackle, basic boating supplies. Boat, ski and tube rentals through the marina.
Ashore
Lodging on site ranges from cottages to a restored 1802 log cabin, with a campground, swimming pool and private beach. Malcolm Creek and Big Bear Creek nearby are known fishing grounds for bass, crappie and catfish.
