Approach and anchoring
Approach from the upper Chesapeake Bay south of the Bay Bridge. The basin lies on the Kent Island shore and is reached through a marked entrance channel. Call ahead on VHF 68 for berth assignment.
Practical
Around 243 floating berths on full-length finger pontoons for boats from 30 to 130 feet, with water, cable and 30, 50 or 100 amp shore power. Year-round fuel berth with seasonal pump-out. Heads, showers, laundry, fitness room and a waterfront pool. A 12,000 sq ft service yard handles haul-out, storage and repair.
Ashore
Hemingway's restaurant sits at the marina with a view of the Bay Bridge. Stevensville town centre lies about 3 km away with shops and provisions, and the Cross Island Trail for walking and cycling runs across Kent Island nearby.
