Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west in daylight. Seabed is posidonia and algae, holding is poor and anchoring on posidonia is regulated inside the reserve: use sand patches only and check current local rules before dropping. Shelter from NW, N, NE and E; open to the SW swell.
Practical
No facilities. The nearest anchorage with a shore landing is Port de Girolata 3.1 NM E, reachable only by sea or on foot. Galéria lies 5.2 NM NE for provisioning.
Ashore
Solana sits inside the Scandola nature reserve, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1983 as part of the Golfe de Porto site. Landing ashore is forbidden within the strict reserve boundary. Observation of red rock stacks and seabird colonies from the water only.
