Approach and anchoring
Enter from the south-east between Île San Ciprianu and Punta di Benedettu. Sand and patches of posidonia, which is protected and must be avoided when dropping anchor. Open to E and SE swell. Holding good in sand at 3 to 6 metres.
Practical
No services on the bay itself. Marina di Fiori 2.9 NM west and Porto-Vecchio marina further south for fuel, water and provisioning.
Ashore
Plage de San Ciprianu runs 1.5 km along the head of the bay. Beach restaurants open from May to September. Île San Ciprianu at the north entrance is accessible by dinghy and sits within the Natura 2000 perimeter of the Corsican east coast.
