Practical
Schooner Bay Marina lies 9.6 nm to the west and Roy's Point Marina 11 nm to the south-west for fuel and provisions. Public docks are available on twelve of the islands.
Ashore
The Apostle Islands Sandscapes State Natural Area, designated in 1992, protects sand spits, dunes and beaches on Long, Outer, Raspberry, Rocky and Stockton islands. Eroded sandstone shoreline and sea caves can be explored by dinghy in calm weather.
