Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Vie estuary past Port-La-Vie, 0.3 NM to the SE. Come in from mid-tide upwards, ideally at slack water, as the quay dries outside high water given the 0.4 m draught limit. The entrance channel holds good water but is only lightly marked. Les Sables d'Olonne Port Olona lies 13.2 NM SE for deeper-draught vessels.
