Approach and anchoring
Approached up the East Branch of the Westport River after entering over the harbour bar from the Atlantic. The river bar is best crossed near high water. Tidal streams run hard through the mooring field; the club holds visitor moorings subject to availability.
Practical
Seasonal and transient berths and moorings, with a slipway and parking. There are restrooms and showers ashore, and a sailing programme for adults and juniors. Provisions are available in Westport Point village a short walk away.
