Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Sarthe, a tributary of the Maine navigable between Le Mans and Sable-sur-Sarthe. The river is managed by the Departement de la Sarthe with locks on a summer schedule from April to October. Air draught is limited by several low bridges along the valley.
Practical
Short visitor pontoon used mainly by river boats and rental craft. Village shop and bakery in Spay itself. Arnage pontoon lies 1.2 NM to the NE, Fille-sur-Sarthe 1.8 NM to the SW.
